Janasa has been a certified spinning instructor for the past 2 ½ years. She received her certification at the Boston Sports Club through Mad Dogg Athletics. She started instructing in Central New York and ventured her way to the Cape. She has worked at different spinning studios as well as a variety of gyms both in NY and MA.
Her love for fitness comes from soccer where she started playing at 7 years old and continuing her love for the game in college while playing Division III at SUNYIT in the NEAC (North Eastern Athletic Conference). She has attended and coached many soccer camps including numerous camps at Hamilton College in New York.
Her passion for fitness is portrayed through her classes as each ride is uniquely designed by her. She loves to incorporate techniques (both new and old) for every energy zone the spinning program has to offer. She is always empowering others to do their absolute best both in and out of spinning class. Janasa takes great pride in being able to inspire others to be the best version of themselves.
Ashley Lambert has obtained her certification in LESMILLS Body Pump and has been instructing BodyPump classes for the past three years. Ashley has her Master Degree of Science in Occupational Therapy from Worcester State University and has been an occupational therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital of Cape Cod for the past five years in addition to working as a certified class instructor at Fitness Elevations.
Practicing as a registered and licensed occupational therapist, Ashley has several health and educator related certifications including Physical Agent Modalities Certification and Fieldwork Educator Certifications. PAMS Certification allows Ashley to provide interventions assisting with muscle soreness, muscle strength, muscle recovery, and with various injuries.
Ashley has mentored many students throughout her career and enjoys teaching people. Ashley also played college basketball at Assumption College, where she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Education. After playing college ball, Ashley was an assistant coach at the college level for the Women’s Basketball team at Worcester State University for three years.
Exercise, strength training, and nutrition have always been a huge part of Ashley’s life. She believes that exercise is a tool that helps to strengthen a person as a whole, physically and mentally. Ashley enjoys the comradely, friendships, and confidence that group classes can promote at Fitness Elevations.
Andrea Nashef has been instructing at Balance Fitness for the past five year. She is the Fitness Director of Fitness Elevations.
Andrea is a certified dance instructor and has been dancing for the past thirty years. She has participated in various workshops and conventions throughout Boston and New York. She attended UMASS Amherst and studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern and Dance History. She has also studied ballroom and belly dancing. She was a member of Boston’s Hip Hop group, Rainbow Tribe for five years. She also was a back up dancer for Run DMC and Funk Master Flex. Andrea has been in commercials for Toyota and has done promotional work for New Balance and various TV shows such as Dance Fever.
She has been teaching for the past twenty years. Her students have been award winning dancers at various competitions and conventions along the South Shore. She has also coached and choreographed for local cheerleading teams on Cape Cod.
Andrea has received certifications in Zumba® Instructor Training for Basic Steps Level One, Zumba® Toning, Zumba® Step, Body Combat, and Body Attack. She is also certified in weight training and Step Aerobics.
Andrea knows that dance can bring out the best in everyone. She believes the joy, happiness, and fulfillment that exercise can give should be given. Her mission is to help bring Dance into the fitness world.
Suzanne Perdigao has been teaching fitness for over 15 years. She has taught and held certifications in Group Exercise , Step, Kickboxing , TurboKick, Bodypump and Zumba.
Outside of fitness, Suzanne teaches kindergarten and has two children ages 12 and 14. She loves the outdoors and time spent with family.
Her goal is to challenge her class participants to push themselves and be successful at all fitness levels. One of her favorite quotes is "Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It's about being better than you used to be."
Alex Tice has his bachelors Degree of Movement Arts Physical Education from Bridgewater State University. He is a certified Holistic Exercise Coach through CHEK (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology). He specializes in holistically addressing exercise as one component of the human being which can enhance overall quality of life.
Other than Yoga, Alex is also certified in Scientific Core Conditioning, Functional Weight Training, Swiss Ball rehabilitation and is a Mind-Body Fitness Coach. He is the Program Director of a local rehabilitation center here on Cape.
Alex is an expert in Integrating Motor Emgrams, improving posture and muscle-motor recruitment patterns. He believes in setting a foundation for personal expansion into a greater version of the self via healthy routines in the areas of physical movement, cognitive thought, and emotional balancing.
Alex’s goal in the fitness world is to help people reach their greater capacities. He strives in educating people about how the physical body can be used to balance mental and emotional energies and thus their life experiences.
Whitney has a love for working out and has always been athletic and competitive. She is a Bourne High School graduate where she played volleyball, basketball and tennis. There she obtained 12 varsity letters. She continued to play 4 years of tennis at Plymouth State University where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Whitney has been an avid spinner for years. She decided to become an instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics in early 2017. She combines her love for music with her love for spinning which brings you a killer workout!
When not at the gym, Whitney continues to keep active doing the other things she loves. The most important to her is spending time with her two beautiful children. Carly, 5 and Taylor, 4 keep her heart full and body busy. She is also continuously setting new goals and training to accomplish them. In 2016, she completed her first 2-day Pan Mass Challenge, Falmouth Road Race, and B.A.A. Half Marathon all while raising thousands upon thousands for Dana Farber Cancer Institute (a place she holds very dear to her heart).

Terri Richards has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years and enjoys teaching people to discover their own healing potential through exercise, movement, and the breath. She has held Group Exercise Instructor Certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and is licensed to teach Zumba and ZumbaKids. A New York native, Terri has taught fitness, dance, yoga in NYC and Westchester County, NY prior to moving to the Cape in 2017 and is passionate in her belief that exercise and fitness should be a part of a healthy lifestyle for everyone.
A registered Nurse by profession, Terri holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Holistic Nursing and has worked in neurotrauma rehabilitation, staff education, pediatrics, and school health. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, swimming, reading, and relaxing at the beach. She lives in Falmouth with her husband Andrew, their two dogs, and is the proud mother of daughter, Emily.
